Jason Fairchild is the General Manager of Programmatic & Affiliate at Pinterest and co-founder and CEO of tvScientific by Pinterest, where he connects Pinterest's unique commercial intent signals to the broader advertising ecosystem, helping advertisers reach high-intent audiences, measure impact across the funnel, and turn inspiration into action.

In his GM role, Jason leads Pinterest's programmatic and affiliate channel efforts across the company to bring Pinterest’s CTV, programmatic, and affiliate channels together under a unified performance strategy.

As co-founder and CEO of tvScientific by Pinterest, Jason built the first CTV advertising platform purpose-built for performance marketers, a self-managed solution that combines media buying, optimization, measurement, and attribution in one platform. tvScientific was backed by some of the world's leading tech investors and media companies before being acquired by Pinterest in 2026.

Jason has spent his career building technologies that redefined how advertising is bought and measured. As co-founder and CRO of OpenX, he helped pioneer the programmatic advertising space; leading the team that introduced the first programmatic ad exchange for digital media, the first for mobile advertising, and the invention of Header Bidding, now a standard infrastructure layer for programmatic media across display, mobile, video, and OTT/CTV. Earlier, as an early executive at GoTo.com, he played a key role in developing the paid search business model that now generates over $200 billion in annual advertising spend globally.

Jason holds 16+ patents and pending applications in behavioral technology and search, with several more pending in audience data aggregation, CTV attribution/measurement/optimization, and social/influencer commerce.
