Wanji Walcott joined Pinterest as our Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer in November 2022. At Pinterest she oversees our legal, compliance, public policy, public affairs and sustainability teams. She joined us in November 2022. Prior to Pinterest, she served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Discover Financial Services from July 2019 until October 2022. Prior to joining Discover, Ms. Walcott served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at PayPal, where she led the company’s global legal organization. From 2002 to 2015, she held multiple leadership roles at American Express, where she last served as Senior Vice President, Managing Counsel. Ms. Walcott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from the Howard University School of Law.
